The Great Hall of the People’s Palace, originally opened in 1937 for plays, concerts and other entertainment, recently underwent a £6.3 million refurbishment and was re-launched earlier this year. As well as being available for external hire – the versatile auditorium is central to university life, acting as its graduation venue and a location for high profile lectures and events.

Following on the back of hosting the BBC’s Question Time in the Victorian Octagon on the 5th December, Sue Mussett, Business Development Manager commented “To have two high profile programmes using Events & Hospitality QM facilities is tantamount to the trust placed in us by the BBC and its production companies, this reflects our ethos of working in partnership with our clients for mutual success”.

Events & Hospitality QM offers over 100 event spaces at the Mile End campus of Queen Mary, alongside facilities in the City of London and Whitechapel.
